Front Porch Lemonade

1—Lemonade: combine the juice of 20 lemons, 5.5 cups of sugar, and 6 quarts of water. Strain.
2—To build: place a small amount of crushed ice in a Collins glass and place one lemon pin wheel; repeat four to five times.
3—Build cocktail, add 2 ounces of Hangar One Citron, and fill glass with lemonade.
4—Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Bloody Mary

1—Rim a tulip-shaped glass with crushed celery salt and build with ice.
2—In a shaker, combine Absolut Peppar (1.25 ounces), V-8 juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco.
3—Garnish with two U-10 (jumbo) shrimp, celery stalks, olives, and a lemon.





Cylinda Line Cocktail Shaker & Martini Mixer with Spoon
Originally sketched on a napkin in 1964, it took three years and new technology to make Arne Jacobsen’s Cylinda Line (1967) stainless steel hollow-ware possible to produce. Jacobsen insisted on seamless tubes with perfect, brushed surfaces, and he continued to add new pieces to the collection until 1971. Pieces of the line, which includes an ice bucket, ice tongs, jug with ice lip, and serving tray, are included in the permanent collections of MoMA and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

1—In a shaker, combine 1.5 ounces cognac, 1.5 ounces Sauza Commemorativo tequila, .5 ounces Cointreau, and 3 ounces sweet and sour mix.
2—Serve in a martini glass with a salt rim.







Alessi cocktail Shakers

 

L870/50 Shaker
This cocktail line was the first project by designers Luigi Mazzeri and Carlo Massoni for Alessi. Mazzeri and Massoni designed for the company from the late 1950s to the early ’70s, creating a complete collection of objects now found on the counters of bars throughout the world. Designer Ron Arad has created a family of objects for Alessi that are not only aesthetically iconic but are also distinguished by innovative performance: the twisted shape of the Chiringuito shaker makes you think that the liquid inside is going to twist as well. 90021 Shaker
Initially attributed to designer Marianne Brandt, this cocktail shaker —originally manufactured between 1920 and 1930 by the C.G. Hallbergs company of Stockholm—has since been attributed to the Swedish designer Sylvia Stave, per subsequent studies by Peter Hahn, director of the Bauhaus Archive. Crafted in 18/10 stainless steel.
